Formerly a consultant at the prominent marketing, PR, and research agency, SENSU/JapanConsuming, where she assisted fashion companies worldwide in their market entry and expansion strategies. After establishing her career as a fashion buyer at the prestigious store Koh Samui and successfully founding her events company, T A K A Y O, in London, she contributed to the marketing and PR efforts of a global drinks brand. Integrating creativity with business acumen, Takayo crafts brand marketing strategies for clients. In 2021, she founded T A - N E to offer essential marketing solutions to companies aspiring to expand their business in the Japanese market.

Mikiko set up Muse Press in 2004 after building her career as in-house PR at a renowned fashion distribution company, H.P.France. Since then she has built up her own company to become one of the most successful and reputable PR agencies in Japan, helping major domestic and global companies. Building on her expertise in B2C with a fully integrated marketing mix, she later set up the creative agency, Whiteboard Ltd. She mixes a strong growth mindset with strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
